Privacy policy

Updated September 1, 2026

This page explains what meermost.site collects, why, who receives it and how to switch it off. It is written in plain language — if anything reads unclear, tell us and we will fix the wording.

1. Who processes the data

The data controller is Vladimir Samoylov, sole proprietor (ИП Самойлов Владимир Викторович), Russian taxpayer number (INN) 540303762328 — "we" below.

Requests about this policy go through the form on the Contact page, or Telegram; both are listed there.

2. What we collect

2.1 What you send us

WhereWhatRequired
Contact formname, Telegram or phone, project description, budgetyes — the form will not submit without it
Price calculators and the quizthe options you picked and the resulting price rangesent automatically, with no name and no contact details
Client portalthe login we issued under a contractyes

UTM tags travel with the enquiry: if you arrived from an ad, we see which one. They live in the tab's sessionStorage and disappear when you close it.

Form and calculator submissions reach us as a Telegram notification. The site keeps no separate database of enquiries.

2.2 What is collected automatically

Once you accept, the Yandex.Metrica counter collects anonymised statistics: IP address, a cookie identifier, device and browser, referrer, pages viewed, clicks and scrolling. Session recording (Webvisor) is part of it.

Form contents are excluded from that recording. The contact form's fields carry the ym-disable-keys class, so Metrica stores asterisks instead of what you typed. The client portal carries no counter at all.

If Google Analytics 4 is enabled, it collects a comparable set: pages, referrer, device, a cookie identifier.

We do not collect and never ask for: identity documents, payment details, health data or precise location.

3. Why

  • to answer your enquiry and discuss the project;
  • to see which pages get read and which go unnoticed;
  • to tell whether advertising works, and stop paying for it when it does not;
  • to run the client portal under an existing contract.

We do not sell data, do not hand it to ad networks for profiling, and do not email people who did not ask us to.

4. Legal basis

  • Enquiries and correspondence — your consent, given by submitting the form with the checkbox ticked, and pre-contractual steps: GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b); Art. 6(1)(1) of Russian Federal Law 152-FZ.
  • Analytics and cookies — your consent, given in the banner.
  • The portal — performance of a contract.

5. Cookies and local storage

WhatSet byPurposeLifetime
NEXT_LOCALEthis siteremembers the chosen language1 year
portal_sessionthis siteclient portal session, scoped to its own path14 days
cookie_consent (localStorage)this siteyour answer to the banneruntil you clear the browser
utm_params (sessionStorage)this sitereferral source for an enquiryuntil the tab closes
_ym_*Yandex.Metricastatistics and session recordingup to 1 year
_ga*Google Analyticsstatisticsup to 2 years

The first four are strictly necessary: without them the language is forgotten, the portal login stops working, and there is nowhere to record your refusal of analytics. The banner does not switch those off — your browser settings do.

The English and Russian sides of the site behave differently. On /en nothing analytics-related loads until you press Accept: this is where visitors from the EU arrive, and the GDPR wants consent before collection, not after. On /ru the counter starts immediately and the banner says so, offering to turn it off — that refusal takes effect from the next page.

6. Who else receives it

WhoWhatWhy

Google LLCanonymised visit statisticsanalytics
Vercel Inc.technical request datasite hosting
Neon Inc.client portal datathe portal's database

Authorities receive data only on a lawful, reasoned request.

7. International transfers

Telegram, Google, Vercel and Neon run servers outside Russia, and several of them outside the EEA. By submitting the form or accepting analytics you accept that transfer.

8. How long we keep it

  • Enquiry correspondence — as long as the project needs it, and no longer than 3 years after the last contact.
  • Metrica and GA statistics — for as long as those services retain them.
  • Portal data — for the term of the contract plus one year.

Withdrawing consent deletes the data, except where law requires us to keep it.

9. How to opt out

  • Analytics on this site — the "Cookie settings" button in the footer of every page. You can change the answer as often as you like.
  • Yandex.Metrica everywhere — Yandex opt-out page.
  • Google Analytics everywhere — Google's browser add-on.
  • Cookies altogether — your browser settings. Note that the client portal login will stop working.

10. Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority — Roskomnadzor in Russia, your national data protection authority in the EU. Send the request through the Contact page. We answer within 30 days, usually sooner.

11. How we protect it

The site runs over HTTPS. Enquiry notifications are visible only to the team. The portal is behind a login, its URL contains a random key, and it is excluded from search engines.

12. Children

This site is addressed to adults and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect their data.

13. Changes

We may update this policy — when a new service is connected, for example. The date of the last change is at the top of the page. For material changes the banner is shown again.
